Great post, a lot of people don't realize the importance of water, I know I didn't always know and I didn't know all of these. When I was doing a great job losing weight (I started a couple of years ago this month and lost 40 pounds by July then got pregnant and gained it all back) I was drinking 2 glasses of water before each meal plus one when I was exercising early in the morning and one before bed. I know I am not getting enough now. And with nursing I know it is important so I am trying to step it up again. Thanks for the reminder.
I don't always drink enough myself. It's like a lot of things, I guess--knowing what to do and doing it aren't always the same! Trying to do better though!
It takes effort to remember to do it--at least until it becomes habit. I have 32 oz bottle and I try to drink 3 bottle-fuls a day! I try to drink the 1st by lunch, the 2nd by, say 4 and the 3rd by the tome I go to bed!
I know I often get headaches when I didn't drink enough water. My brother gives the response you said your husband gives. ;) Thanks for sharing at A Humble Bumble.
Another huge benefit of drinking enough water is you have less of a risk of developing kidney stones which are absolutely nasty! I used to drink tons of diet soda and ended up having to have 3 surgeries to deal with all my stones. Since I have stopped the diet soda and added a bunch of water, I have been kidney stone free for 4 years now!

Yeah, I figured kidney stones were included in the UTI's. But water definitely helps with that!
