I was recently asked to try and review 2 Farm Rich products of my choice and was provided 2 coupons which allowed me to get full sized bags of Farm Rich frozen snacks! I was more than happy to oblige, since I love convenient snacks for my little girl (and sometimes myself ;-)).
After looking at both our regular grocery stores, I was unable to find them. So I finally looked on the Farm Rich website for somewhere to get them and found out Walmart was the only place to get them around here. Walmart had about 10 different choices where the other stores had none. After much deliberation, I decided on the Mozzarella Bites and Italian meatballs.
The first thing I tried was the mozzarella bites. I love bread and cheese--two bad things for a diet, but taste so good.
The mozzarella bites were right up my alley, as I knew they would be. Apparently they are up my daughter's alley too. She seems to like them almost as much as I do! I made them in the microwave because it was faster and easier, but I suspect they might have tasted better in the oven. I used the Italian meatballs in spaghetti. We normally just have ground beef in our spaghetti because it's easier, but this was a nice change of pace. The meatballs were already to go. All I had to do was heat them up (microwave again) and toss into spaghetti sauce. And noodles don't take long to cook, so we had a quick and easy meal. The most complicated thing was the salad!
Whether you're looking for a quick meal, fun appetizers for your next party or a kid-friendly snack, Farm Rich strives to meet that need for your family. After all, their motto is "Keep 'em Happy!"
