NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine

     Well, I'm still trying out (and sharing about) all the great products in my holiday voxbox from Influenster and today I thought I'd tell you about one of my favorites--the NYC Liquid Lipshine lip gloss.

Goody QuikStyle Brush

     One of the great things about being an Influenster is getting to try out a bunch of awesome stuff and then share it with my readers! As I've mentioned previously, I got to receive the Holiday Vox Box and probably my favorite item in the box was the Goody Quikstyle hairbrush.
     What is the Quikstyle brush? Well, it is a special brush that has small pieces of microfiber (which is super-absorbent) in between the brustles. See the pic above? All that blue stuff is microfiber. The claim about this brush is that it speeds your drying time by removing 30% of the water from your wet hair.

Kiss Nail Dress

 

     Most of the products I received in my Holiday Voxbox from Influenster are beauty related, and this one is no exception. I got a set of Kiss Nail Dress strips.
     Kiss Nail Dress is a sort of nail polish that you stick on. No applicator glue, no nail polish, no nail polish remover when you're done. It goes on like a sticker, but once it is on, it really does feel like nail polish. And there are no plain designs. There are 21 different designs, all loud and flashy in their own way. 
     The design I got to try out (and I know different Voxbox recipients got different designs) was a kind of leopard print. Not really my style, but I still got to try it out and see how it feels and all that. I wish they made some solid colors for plain Janes like me, but I think the point is to make it look like you've had some of that fancy nail art done. Here's a pic of mine. 

     Fun, but not something I'd wear out. I rarely paint my nails anyway, and when I do, it's usually a bland color, like nude, or pink. Something that won't stand out like those. ^ ^ 
     You can put them on whole (they have different sizes for different fingers and toes) or you can cut them up into different designs and put over your regular manicures. The possibilities are endless.

     Kiss Dress Nails are available at most drug stores chains and mass retailers at about $7 a pack. They are pretty easy to apply--you just have to trim the excess carefully. If you're a habitual nail-biter, I don't recommend these! But if you want to have that fancy "nail art" look, then these are worth looking into. For more info, check out their website.

BzzCampaign: Bic Soleil Savvy Disposable Razor

     As a BzzAgent, I get to try out lots of cool stuff, just for sharing my opinion. And you don't have to be a blogger to be a BzzAgent. So you can sign up and try out free stuff whether you are a blogger or not! 

     So, the latest Bzzcampaign I've gotten to be part of is for the Bic Soleil Savvy disposable razor. This is a disposable razor  that actually has removable cartridges. Each razor comes with four disposable cartridges. And then I guess you throw the razor itself out? 

     While I think the razor is great and pretty reasonable in price (about $6-7 or so), I kinda wonder--what is the point of a "disposable" razor with removable cartridges? It seems kinda wasteful to me to have to throw out the handle when you're done with all four cartridges. Because what are you going to do with just a handle? I'm sure creative minds can find a use, but that's not my point. The cartridges are not available separately.

     So the Bic Soleil Savvy is between the cheapo disposable razors and pricier razors with removable cartridges. These razors don't have moisturizing bars like, say, the Venus Embrace. But they also don't cost as much and the handle is sturdy like the more expensive razors. I think Bic has a good thing here, but I really think they should reconsider selling cartridges separately. After all, the razor itself is good enough to last--why should I have to throw it out?
