  1. Great post, a lot of people don't realize the importance of water, I know I didn't always know and I didn't know all of these.
When I was doing a great job losing weight (I started a couple of years ago this month and lost 40 pounds by July then got pregnant and gained it all back) I was drinking 2 glasses of water before each meal plus one when I was exercising early in the morning and one before bed. I know I am not getting enough now. And with nursing I know it is important so I am trying to step it up again. Thanks for the reminder.

    1. I don't always drink enough myself. It's like a lot of things, I guess--knowing what to do and doing it aren't always the same! Trying to do better though!

  3. This is great info! I think in the course of our busy lives we forget how important it is to drink water to take care of our health.

    1. It takes effort to remember to do it--at least until it becomes habit. I have 32 oz bottle and I try to drink 3 bottle-fuls a day! I try to drink the 1st by lunch, the 2nd by, say 4 and the 3rd by the tome I go to bed!

  5. I know I often get headaches when I didn't drink enough water. My brother gives the response you said your husband gives. ;) Thanks for sharing at A Humble Bumble.

  6. Another huge benefit of drinking enough water is you have less of a risk of developing kidney stones which are absolutely nasty! I used to drink tons of diet soda and ended up having to have 3 surgeries to deal with all my stones. Since I have stopped the diet soda and added a bunch of water, I have been kidney stone free for 4 years now!

    1. Yeah, I figured kidney stones were included in the UTI's. But water definitely helps with that!
